Cut stamp duty by 50% and remove land tax for properties going into the rental market to increase supply and put downward pressure on rent.

Groceries, fuel, rent and energy bills keep rising. I will work to reduce state taxes and charges that add to your everyday costs.

I will deliver immediate repairs and maintenance for all roads in the electorate and action known trouble spots.

Residents struggling with mental health, homelessness and addiction need practical help and compassion.  I’ll bring residents, traders and health services together to push for better treatment, housing and support—helping people improve their lives.

Victoria has natural resources — Gas and oil, minerals and coal. I will support policy that uses our natural resources to bring us affordable energy.

Back Kel Glare’s call to formally investigate former premier Daniel Andrews over alleged perjury, conspiracy and attempting to pervert the course of justice involving then-15-year-old cyclist Ryan Meuleman, and lay charges where the evidence supports them.

We need more police on the beat and for Springvale Police Station to operate 24/7.

(Statewide) Politicians and police hold positions of trust and authority. Ian supports stronger penalties when that authority is used to commit, assist or cover up serious criminal wrongdoing. If you make or enforce the law, you should be held to a higher standard.

Our growing communities need roads, transport, community facilities, green spaces and essential services that keep pace with local and family needs. I will work with councils, community groups and government agencies to identify projects that need greater State Government support.

Graffiti and tags spoil our neighbourhoods. I will work with the community to identify and quickly remove them, keeping our streets clean and welcoming
